Delete your WeeFit account
How to delete your WeeFit account from the app or by email, what is erased, what is kept for accounting, and how long it takes.
Last updated:
You can delete your WeeFit account yourself, at any time. Deletion is irreversible and there is no grace period: once you confirm, it cannot be undone and we cannot restore the account.
Before you delete
- If you have a coach, your coaching relationships end and each coach is notified. The coach keeps their own records (their plan templates, their invoices) but loses all access to you.
- If you are a coach, your clients lose access to the plans and meals you gave them, and any active subscription with WeeFit ends without a refund for the remaining period (see the Terms, section 5). Consider telling your clients first.
- Want a copy of your data first? Email support@weefit.app and ask for an export before you delete. After deletion there is nothing left to export.
Delete from the app
- Sign in to WeeFit (web, iOS or Android).
- Open Account (your avatar, or the account tab).
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the summary of what will happen, then confirm.
Your session ends immediately and the login is disabled.
Delete by email
If you cannot sign in, or you simply prefer email:
- From the email address on your account, write to support@weefit.app.
- Use the subject “Delete my account”.
- We may reply once to make sure the request came from you. Reply to confirm.
We process email requests promptly, normally within a few business days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, avatar, phone, birthdate, gender, language, timezone.
- Your health profile; your check-ins (weight, body fat, notes, InBody readings); your InBody reports and progress photos. The files themselves are deleted from storage.
- Your messages and their attachments.
- Your plans, meal plans, logs and notes, both on your own side and as a client.
- Your notification settings, push tokens, presence and consents.
- Your login with the authentication provider, including any Google or Apple link.
What is retained
- Accounting records: invoices, payment events and audit events are append-only and must be kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They keep the amounts and dates; they keep no name and no contact details. They are anonymised.
- Other people’s records that mention you: a coach’s invoice to you stays in the coach’s books, anonymised on your side, as above.
Timeline
- The account is disabled and your data is erased or anonymised promptly after confirmation. For deletion from the app, this happens at once.
- Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days. Nobody restores personal data from a backup after a deletion.
